If you would like to request changes to your general education requirements on your degree audit, please fill out this

SENIORS
: If you plan to graduate this year, there is no need to update the
major section
of your audit using the form. Instead, your degree requirements will be verified by your department using your Barnard transcript. Please reach out to your department chair to confirm you are on track to graduate.

To receive credit for courses taken abroad, please submit
Study Abroad Course Approval Form
on Slate and have them approved by the appropriate party. You must also have an official copy of your transcript sent to the Registrar's Office.
For summer 2020 only, online courses will be considered for credit. To receive credit for summer courses, please submit the Summer Course Approva
l
form.
Be sure to include all required documentation and obtain all necessary signatures. You must also have an official copy of your transcript sent to the Registrar's Office.
If you have submitted a summer course form, please note that decisions may take up to three weeks from the receipt of your completed application.
To ensure the quickest turnaround, please verify that you have included all required approvals as well as the official documentation requested on the back of the form.

To receive credit for classes taken at another U.S. institution during the academic year, please send course descriptions, the number of credits awarded for each course, and the type of credit you are requesting to

(which lists all Columbia and Barnard classes). Barnard students can register for any Columbia class that says it is “open to Barnard” in its course listing.

If you anticipate graduating, please submit a

For incoming students, if you have already sent your AP scores to us, you should see the transfer credit reflected on your Barnard transcript by September. If you do not, please follow up with us after October 15
